   MEGAN Riley is used to being the only women at automotive refinishing competitions ."At all of

 them ,I have never met another girl,except for once when color matching ,"says the 22-year -old 

from Eastwood ,who last year finished her certificate III in Automotive Refinishing at Sydney TAFE.

She came across the career almost by accident when,after leaving school,she signed up to work as a 

detailer for pymble Repair center to earn a bit of pocket money . While she was initially treated as a 

bit of a novelty ,she has gone on to be named the central and northern Sydney Apprentice of the year 

at the NSW Training Awards .
